• David is an internationally experienced Service Management Consultant within the UK Outsourcing Services SMC Practice. David has 22 years experience in ICT and service management in roles including IT Manager, Service Delivery Manager and latterly as Managing Consultant.
• David has broad cross-sector experience and has worked as a Service Delivery Manager responsible for ICT service delivery to a number of large public sector bodies providing public transport, broadcastings and local government services; in the private sector David held the position of European IT Manager for a US retail manufacturing company.
• David holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School where he researched the measurement of ICT service quality. David holds the PRINCE2 Practitioner and ITILv3 Expert (Manager’s Certificate) professional qualifications.
• David understands both sides of the ICT landscape having procured services as a ICT budget holder and delivered against demanding service levels as a Senior Service Delivery Manager. David uses this combination of operational experience to provide practical advice and guidance to senior IT managers and CIOs as part of his service management capability.
• David is adept at working in teams and is able to successfully collaborate with all levels of stakeholder by using his combination of academic and professional experience together with his demonstrable track record of service delivery.
• David has authored a number of white papers on governance and service management, green ITIL and shared services in the public sector.
